You’re eligible for the Affordable Warmth Scheme if you or someone who lives with you are in receipt of the following benefits:
•State Pension Credit or
•Child Tax Credit (if your income is £15,860 or less)
You are also eligible for funding towards a replacement boiler if you are in receipt of a combination of these benefits:
One of these:
•Income based Job Seeker’s Allowance
•Income related Employment and Support Allowance only and not getting a work related activity or support component. If you’re getting a work related activity or support component, then you don’t need to meet the additional qualifying criteria in the list below such as parental responsibility, pensioner premium etc
•Income Support.
Plus at least one benefit from this:
•Disabled Child Premium
•responsibility for a child under 16 years of age, who lives at the property
•responsibility for a child aged 16 or over but under 20, who lives at the property and is in full-time education (not in higher education, such as at a university)
•Pension Premium, Higher Pensioner Premium or Enhanced Pensioner Premium
•Child Tax Credit which includes a disability or severe disability element
•Disability Premium, Enhanced Disability Premium or Severe Disability Premium
OR, a combination of:
•Working Tax Credit (if your income is £15,860 or less)
Plus one benefit from this list:
•responsibility for a child under 16 who lives at the property
•responsibility for a child aged 16 or over but under 20, who lives at the property and is in full-time education (not in higher education, such as at a university)
•Disability or Severe Disability Element
•aged 60 or over.
OR,
•Universal credit and received a net monthly earned income of £1,167 or less in any assessment period in the previous twelve months
Plus meets one of the following criteria:
•is responsible for a child under 16 years of age, who lives at the property
•is responsible for a child aged 16 or over but under 20, who lives at the property and is in full-time education (not in higher education, such as at a university)
•has limited capability for work, or limited capability for work and work-related activity
•is in receipt of disability living allowance
•is in receipt of personal independence payment.
