“I chose Steve and his company to install my new boiler. From the outset I was impressed by both him and all of his employees. He carried out a full survey of my property so that he could establish how energy efficient it was and therefore supply me with the most appropriate boiler system.

“Prior to the installation he had organised the scaffolding to be erected to enable easier access to my roof. On the day of installation his employees arrived on time, looking presentable and were polite and courteous. The work was carried out precisely and cleanly.

“The work Warmer Homes Heating & Renewables carried out at my house included a replacement boiler, new water cylinder, programmer, thermostat and radiator valves as well as all necessary pipework and then a flush of the complete system.

“The Government ECO scheme is a brilliant idea – it aims to fund inefficient boilers and insulate houses which lose a lot of heat in the winter period resulting in high fuel costs. We were keen to have our 19 year old boiler replaced after we had out loft insulation done. Hot water delivery was poor which meant that we had to constantly switch on the heating to draw hot water. This was uncomfortable and resulted in high gas bills.

“Our search for a reliable contractor to undertake the works has been a long one.  We went through five companies which carried out the survey of the property and filled in the paperwork but no one saw the work through. We got to the point where EDF Energy transferred us over to Warmer Homes Heating & Renewables.  
 
“An initial conversation with Christine, explaining the situation started things off and Steve came over shortly to conduct a full survey within the same week. We were given all the information regarding timescales and what the work would involve. This was done in a very professional yet friendly manner.

“The following week, Andy and Chris came over to replace the whole boiler system including the gas pipe replacement and radiator thermostatic valves. All the work was completed within the same day. The boiler was up and running and we were able to use the hot water. The pipe work was earthed and a new spur socket was added a day after by Mark, the electrician.
